What the storm data covers
The download holds the storm table, the county summary and the county daily table, with the citation, the data dictionary and the notebook. The tables in the package are unchanged for this split. Storm videos, hurricane tracks, forecast lines and satellite loops: free with an API key. The county table is a night-light reading. It does not show the minute power went off or came back.
Estimates from public records and satellite night light. Not for real-time emergency response or for any decision about one address or property. Data disclaimers.
